The San people are among the first cultures to have emerged in Southern Africa, and possibly in the world. Their traditions are unfathomably ancient, spanning back at least 20,000 years. And yet today, their culture is hanging by a thread. Decimated by colonialism in the past, they are now forced to find very modern ways of keeping their customs alive.
